Abrasion Tester Taber Type ASTM D1175
- The TABER Type Abrasion Tester is for evaluating the abrasion rate of the plastic plywood, patent leather and paint.
- The test is conducted by measuring the degree of a loss in weight, thickness, and gloss with rotating under a grinding stone.
- The coefficient of abrasion is calculated as followed ; a loss in weight / the cycles of rotation x 1000.
- It is designed based on ASTM D 1175, JIS A 1453, D 1044, JIS K 6902, K 7204.
