Leak Detection / Seal Scan Technologies

VeriPac Non-Destructive Leak Testing & Package Integrity Testing
Capable of detecting leaks and invisible defects in all types of rigid and flexible packaging. Suitable for both offine and online applications and for QA/QC process control.Utilize an ASTM vacuum decay leak test method recognized by the FDA as a standard for package integrity testing. This test method was developed using VeriPac leak test instruments.
VeriPac325/LV Non-destructive Micro Leak Testing of Vials, Syringes & Other Rigid Containers
Highly sensitive micro leak detection of empty & pre-filled syringes, liquid filled & lyophilized vials and other rigid containers. Can be incorporated into protocols at any point in the handling process since it isNon-destructive, non-invasive and requires no sample preparation.Applications include stability studies, clinical studies, quality assurance testing andProduction statistical process control (SPC).Capable of detecting the slightest amount of vapor and gas release as little as 0.1 microliters. Tremendous value in the field of pharmaceutical package integrity testing to assure marketed product safety.
325/D  Versatile package inspection system for foil barrier pouches and poly peelable chevron designed pouches.
Features a convenient drawer-style chamber for easy handling and testing convenience.Capable of testing different size pouches and even multiple pouches without any changeover in parts or system settings.Utilizes patented flex chamber that conforms to the package shape and size. The flexiblemembrane reduces headspace for maximum test sensitivity in pouches up to 30” by 30”.Real time inspection data is available in numerical, statistical and graphic formats.
 VeriPac 225/BLV Blister Integrity Testing
Evaluates and analyzes blister package integrity with precision and repeatability.Combines vacuum decay leak test method with the addition of special vision technology to easily identify the location of defective blister cavities.Non-destructive, non-invasive inspection of multi-cavity blister packaging madewith any material, flat or glossy finish, printed or non-printed surface.Rapid test cycle with results available in numerical, statistical and image formats.Fast changeover for different size and type of blister packs – ideal for laboratory andproduction environments.
 Seal-Scan TM Seal Quality Inspection
Provide offline and online seal integrity inspection solutions for pouches and flexible packaging in the food, pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Characterizes seals that appear visually acceptable yet possess defects that affect product quality, value, and shelf-life.Superior inspection method for heat seals in pouches and flexible packaging with ability to analyze seal quality with precision and repeatability.

Package Testing Inspection Systems is a non-destructive package inspection technologies for the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and container industries.

We offer inspection systems for package integrity testing, seal integrity and leak testing. This inline Inspection systems provide repeatable, reliable results and can be incorporated into protocols at any point in the manufacturing process as they are non-destructive, non-invasive and require no sample preparation.

Inspection Method

UltrasoundScans materials regardless of color, transparency, print, surface finish and porosity

Vacuum decayAn ASTM approved vacuum decay leak test method (F2338) recognized by the FDA as a consensus standard for package integrity testing.

Blister IntegrityCombines the ASTM approved vacuum decay leak test method* with vision imaging technology to detect both large and small leaks and to identify the exact location of the defective blister cavity. Able to detect Printed, non-printed, glossy or flat finish
Pressure decayUtilize either pressure decay or vacuum decay technology and a basic 3-step phase to each test cycle: Filling, Equalizing and Testing.

Pressure decay: Plastic containers of most any size.
Vacuum decay:  technology is used when the characteristic of the container would make it difficult to detect the presence of a certain size leak using pressure technology.
