The cGas-SC Self Contained Controller

The cGas-SC offers superior user customization and reliable gas detection performance for use in non-hazardous, commercial and light industrial settings. It can be be used as a standalone unit or as part of a larger gas detection system and is an ideal solution for various applications, including small parking garages, firehalls, bus barns, laboratories, production greenhouses, boiler rooms, and supermarkets.

Equipped with two internal high voltage relays, an audible alarm, LCD display, LED indicators, and a dedicated terminal connection for remote strobe/horn, the cGas-SC ensures continuous, fixed monitoring and user-friendly operation. Three exterior push buttons provide easy access for navigation and device configuration, featuring an intuitive menu structure that is passcode protected. The cGas-SC is fully field configurable, firmware can be updated with a USB stick and the user interface simplifies the calibration procedure.

Choose from various combinations of internal and remote sensors to meet each specific application need, and easily replace them when they reach their end-of-life with Plug & Play Smart Sensor technology. Replacement sensors are shipped from the factory, ready to install, already calibrated and configured.

The cGas-SC can communicate with a controller or a BAS using BACnet® or Modbus® protocols. It comes standard with low voltage power supply; add line voltage power supply only when needed.

Its user-friendly password-protected menu system and zoning capabilities enhance facility safety and customization, making it a reliable gas detection solution. It also has a priority structure with zoning capabilities to help you manage different areas to ensure the safety of your facility and personnel.

The cGas-SC basic model operates at low voltage, providing a cost-effective option for those not requiring line voltage. Need line voltage? No problem! Simply opt for the upgrade, transforming the cGas-SC into a seamless replacement for the SCC Self Contained Controller. Additionally, the addition of the two analog output options turns it into a compelling alternative to the DCC Dual Channel Controller.
