ทำไม CCIT จึงมีความสำคัญ

Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) มีบทบาทสำคัญในการปกป้องคุณภาพผลิตภัณฑ์ตั้งแต่กระบวนการ Fill-Finish การขนส่ง การจัดเก็บ ไปจนถึงการใช้งานของผู้ป่วย
USP Chapter <1207> แนะนำให้ใช้วิธีการทดสอบแบบ Deterministic และ Non-destructive มากกว่าวิธีแบบดั้งเดิม เช่น Dye Ingress และ Microbial Immersion เนื่องจากให้ผลที่แม่นยำ สามารถทำซ้ำได้ และลดความเสี่ยงจากความคลาดเคลื่อนของผู้ปฏิบัติงาน
PTI technologies we supply
– MicroCurrent HVLD — for liquid parenterals including biologics, suspensions, and low-conductivity products such as sterile water for injection. Uses about 50% less voltage than conventional HVLD and exposes product to under 5% of the voltage.
– Vacuum Decay — non-destructive, deterministic, ASTM F2338, suitable for rigid, semi-rigid, and flexible packaging. Recognized FDA consensus standard.
– Helium Leak Detection — the highest sensitivity available, for vials, elastomeric closures, and any package where defects below 1 µm matter.
– Airborne Ultrasound — seal quality inspection for pouches, sachets, and flexible packs. ASTM F3004, USP <1207> referenced.
– Pressure Decay — inline 100% testing for plastic bottles, blow-molded containers, food, beverage, and pharma containers.
– Force Decay (VeriPac 410) — for low-headspace blisters, sachets, and pouches that defeat conventional vacuum decay.

Why CCIT matters
A leak in a parenteral vial, prefilled syringe, blister, or pouch is not a cosmetic defect — it is a sterility failure. Container closure integrity testing (CCIT) protects your product through fill-finish, transport, storage, and patient delivery. USP Chapter <1207> recommends deterministic, non-destructive test methods over the traditional dye ingress and microbial immersion methods.
